I want to thank everyone who was able to attend the banquet. There was plenty of food and our sons were recognized for their hard work and success this season. I want to again thank all parents and coaches for the time you put in this season. I want to especially give a special thank you to Jere and Patty Blankenship for all the years they have put into helping the club. Working at the tournaments, getting kids to meets, etc. is important and is recognized. I also want to thank Jeff Karsten again for all the years and time he has put in coaching and taking kids to meets.
For those unable to attend, all wrestlers received an appreciation award from the club. I have those items at my house. I will hold onto them until the weekend of the 19th. If you could drop by the house to pick up your sons award, it would greatly be appreciated. Call first since I am involved with coaching my sons baseball team and we are in a tournament most weekends. You can e-mail to see when I or my wife will be home or call: 858-3264 or c-806-0144.

Reminder: freestyle practice every Monday and Thursday. Blue Springs is having a tournament this weekend. Go to Missouri USA Wrestling for the flyer.
The state Freestyle tournament is the weekend of May 5th in Sedalia.
